Small tree with deciduous foliage, dentate oval leaves, white flowers in March-April, yellow pink or purple eatable oval-to-round fleshy fruits (plums).

Available varieties:

"Reine Claude Dorée" Green large sweet fruits turning golden when ripe in August.

"Stanley" Purplish medium fruits, green-yellow pulp ripening at mid-August.
